Yes, please.

Francis says this was one of the biggest swimming pools in the U.S.

That would be so nice right about now …

WHEN SOMEONE REFERS TO ME AS A “CONTENT MANAGER”

This is the first article I've read that addresses how "generational luck" brings success.

I was in Paris recently with a new group of people, one of which was a sort of kooky, interesting girl. Although, in hindsight, not that interesting. I always get fooled and think, ‘She seems fascinating!’ Is she, Simon? Or does she just have short hair?

Just got my hair cut!! Life is awesome.

That’s me, plus some screaming, every time ANYONE uses the word “comprise.”

STOP USING IT. IT DOES NOT MEAN WHAT YOU THINK IT MEANS. JUST SAY CONSISTS.

Reblogging because THERE IS AN ARCHAEOLOGY TUMBLR!

I call it “income heritability,” the degree to which you inherit your parents’ relative position on the income spectrum. And that is just stunning to me, because obviously we inherit our height and weight in a literal sense. We inherit our parents’ relative income only in a figurative sense, but the correlation is about as strong. That’s not what America is supposed to be about; America is supposed to be about opportunity and mobility.

‎”And basically I have one message to all. Hang Tough. And I mean by saying Hanging Tough, do your best every day. Whether it’s in school or at your job or wherever you are. Do your best every day. You don’t have to know all the answers, no way, don’t expect that of yourself, just do your best. Satisfy yourself, so at the end of the day, you can look in the mirror, after you’ve brushed your teeth, and say honestly to yourself, today I did my best. And if you do that you’re being honest and everything is going to be okay.”
